The World Book Online For Kids Scavenger Hunt Series includes six hunts during July and August. These are designed for young people to learn about and have fun exploring World Book Online, a new resource available at the White Plains Public Library. Scavenger Hunt 1 is open to children in grades 1 - 6 beginning Thursday, July 7 and continuing through Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Additional Information: Instructions and forms for the online scavenger hunts are available at the Children's Information Desk (The Compass) in The Trove. The hunts may be done using any computer in the CyberPool or (for White Plains card holders) at home. Completed forms should be turned in at The Compass for a prize and entry into the drawing at the end of the scavenger hunt series.
