Guilty Plea Entered In Revenge-Ambush Shooting

The defendant was accused of shooting someone who shot him in 2011.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — The man accused of an revenge ambush shooting murder pleaded guilty Tuesday.

Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino Jr. said Aaron George, 22, of Main Street in White Plains, was charged with second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felonies, in the shooting death of Dominique Hospie.

On Sunday, April 17, 2016, around 11:24 a.m. in the area of 91 North Kensico Ave. in White Plains, George, along with co-defendant Michael Djukic, was in a Chrysler Pacifica driven by Djukic.

Once at the location, Djukic waiting in the car as George left the vehicle, approached Hospie and fired a handgun multiple times at him, striking the victim.

George ran back to the car and he and Djukic drove off.

Hospie was taken to Westchester Medical Center suffering gunshot wounds to the hand and back. He later died in surgery.

George remains in jail and will be sentenced July 23, 2017.

Police said George was shot in 2011 by Hospie, who spent almost three years in prison for the crime.

He faces a minimum sentence of 15 to 25 years to a maximum sentence of life.

Djukic, 21, of Lake Street in White Plains, was arraigned May 18, 2016, on the following charges:

  • Second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony
  • Second-degree criminal facilitation, a felony
  • Tampering with physical evidence, a felony
  • Second-degree hindering prosecution, a felony
