Police: Suspect Arrested in $90,000 Auto Shop Theft
The theft occurred in White Plains on March 18.

Mount Vernon resident Robert Berry was arrested by White Plains police Tuesday in connection with the theft of $90,000 from an unlocked safe at USA Pro Auto Shop on Mamaroneck Avenue, according to authorities.
The case was widely reported in area media because Berry was described as “well-dressed” because he was wearing a shirt, tie and nice jacket. He has been charged with felony grand larceny.
Berry allegedly hung around the outside of the shop on March 18 until no one was inside, then entered and went behind the counter and took the money, reports The Journal News.
