White Plains' Top Democratic Presidential Campaign Contributors

See who is contributing to Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.

WHITE PLAINS, NY - New Yorkers will take to the polls April 19 to cast their ballots for the presidential nomination in each party, and if campaign contributions are any indication of appeal, it looks like former U.S. Sen. and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is on the upswing.

Clinton has received more than $21.9 million to Sander’s $2.3 million, according to Federal Election Commission campaign finance reports.

Those numbers, though, are a bit misleading.

While Clinton’s campaign has raised big bucks from individuals, she’s also been helped by massive money pouring in through Priorities USA Action, a pro-Clinton Super PAC that has raised more than $50 million in support of the former Secretary of State, according to OpenSecrets.

Sanders has raised just $44,968 from outside groups, according to OpenSecrets.

However, in terms of what’s being donated, Clinton outshines Sanders in White Plains. According to the FEC, she has $85,746 in donations and he has $10,053.

For Sanders, the highest contribution from White Plains has been $1,000:

  • LEARY, ANN
