26-Year-Old Found Dead On Williamsburg Balcony, Police Say

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Police are investigating the death of a man whose body they found in a Maujer Street apartment building over the weekend.

Officers were called to 40 Maujer Street just before 2 p.m. on Saturday and found 26-year-old Charles Caporale unconscious on the balcony. Caporale, who lived in the building, was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.

His body had no obvious signs of trauma, police said. The Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
