Armed Chicago Bulls Fan Robs Williamsburg Liquor Store, Police Say

Police are looking for the man who donned a Bulls baseball cap and held up a Williamsburg liquor store.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — A man in a Chicago Bulls cap stole $1,500 from a Williamsburg liquor store, according to police.

The Bulls fan strolled into Mingstar Liquor at 598 Grand St. around 10:10 p.m. on Monday, whipped out a gun and pointed at the 33-year-old clerk, said police.

The liquor store employee handed over $1,500 in cash and the armed man fled the store on foot, police said.

Police released an image of the suspect, whom they describe as a man in his mid-twenties standing about five-foot-nine, on Monday evening.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black Chicago Bulls baseball cap, a grey and black Nike jacket, jeans and white sneakers, according to police.
