Bushwick Houses Man Killed 2 Days After Neighbor's Murder: NYPD

EAST WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — A man and woman were shot dead inside the Bushwick Houses within a timespan of two days, said police.

Emergency responders found Ana Devalle, 62, and Basil Gray, 54, inside their apartments at 140 Moore St. on Friday and Sunday afternoons respectively, police said.

Devalle had her hands bound and a bullet wound in her head when NYPD officers found her at about 6:50 p.m. Friday, said police.

Two days later, officers responding to a 911 call at about 4:40 p.m. found Gray lying dead in his apartment with multiple gunshot wounds on his torso, police said.

Police will investigate whether the two shootings are linked.
