This will be the health food restaurant chain's first Brooklyn branch.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYn — Get ready to dig in, a new Dig Inn outpost is coming to Williamsburg.

Dig Inn, the health food takeout chain with almost 20 locations in New York and Boston, has leased a 2,300-square-foot retail space at 166 N. Fourth St., near Bedford Avenue, according to realtors.

The farm-to-table restaurant will cater to the healthy set with vegetable-heavy dishes, made from locally-sourced ingredients, that customers can grab for about $15.

This will be the first Dig Inn location in Brooklyn, and the store will be competing with restaurants like Sweetgreen — which happens to be next door — and Pokébāb for local health nut customers in a hurry.

Dig Inn Seasonal Market was born out of Pump Energy Food — a health food chain that launched in 1998 meant to appeal to protein-hungry bodybuilder types, according to Crain’s.

But the restaurants got a homier look and a menu that focused on flavor more than fitness when it relaunched as Dig Inn in 2011, CEO Adam Eskin told Crain’s.

The new tactics seem to be working. Dig Inn recently raised $30 million in funding to expand their reach in New York City and Boston, according to Business Insider.

And Dig Inn has four new locations in the works, according to the restaurant website.
