Driver Runs Over Man's Foot Then Shoots Him In Leg When He Complains, Police Say
Police said a man in a green Honda ran over a 20-year-old's left foot then returned to shoot his left leg.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for the driver who ran over a man’s foot last Sunday then hopped out of the car and shot him in the leg.
The suspect was driving his 1999 green Honda SUV on Atkins Avenue near Wortman Avenue on Aug. 20 around 10:40 p.m. when he ran over the left foot of his 20-year-old victim, police said.
The driver initially kept going, but he returned to argue with the man and eventually pulled out a gun, said police.

When the fight became physical, the driver shot his victim twice in the left leg, jumped into his car and sped away, police said.
Emergency responders rushed the 20-year-old to Brookdale Hospital where he was treated for his injuries, said police.

Police released a photo of the suspect Wednesday, whom they describe as a man in his late twenties, last seen wearing a red hat, white shirt and dark pants.
