Elderly Woman Hit By Van in Williamsburg, Police Say
The 73-year-old woman was crossing the street at Bedford Avenue and Wallabout Street around 6 a.m. when she was hit by a van, police said.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — An elderly woman was struck by a van while crossing the street in Williamsburg Thursday morning, police said.
The 73-year-old was crossing at Bedford Avenue and Wallabout Street around 6 a.m. when she was hit by the van, police said.
She was transferred to Methodist Hospital in critical condition, police said.

The driver remained on the scene and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
