Firefighter Charged With Choking Girlfriend In Williamsburg: Cops
Firefighter Ernest McCoy was arrested Monday night for choking his girlfriend during an argument, police said;
WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN -- An off-duty firefighter was arrested in Williamsburg Monday night for choking his girlfriend, police said.
Police said they put Ernest McCoy, 47, in handcuffs at about 11:20 p.m. after his girlfriend accused him of putting his hands around her neck.
McCoy was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, police said.
