G Train Service Resumes After Suspicious Package Reported At Greenpoint Avenue
BREAKING: A suspicious package was reported on a northbound G train around 12:30 p.m.

GREENPOINT, NY — A suspicious package report on a northbound G train at Greenpoint Avenue slowed down service Saturday, according to the MTA.
An MTA spokeswoman said they received a report of a suspicious package at around 12:27 p.m. Police responded to the scene and deemed the package safe.
Service resumed at around 12:55 p.m.

The MTA spokeswoman said there were no delays but an advisory posted to Twitter said the G train, along with several other lines, was running with extensive delays following another incident at Roosevelt Island.
