Man Forced To His Knees, Robbed At Gunpoint In Greenpoint: Cops

Police are still looking for two men that used a handgun to take $250 and a backpack from a man on Eagle Street.

GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN — Police are still looking for two men that forced a 47-year-old to his knees and robbed him last month with a handgun.

Just after midnight on Friday, Feb. 22 two men came up to the 47-year-old victim across from 50 Eagle Street and demanded his money. One of the men took out a handgun, police said.

The two attackers forced the man to kneel on the pavement and took his backpack, wallet and $250, police said. They then ran away eastbound on Eagle Street.

Police have released photo and video of one of the men, who was last seen wearing a brown coat.
