Missing 12-Year-Old Williamsburg Girl Is Safe, Police Say
Leailany Ortiz was found two days after she disappeared in Williamsburg, police said.
WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN -- A 12-year-old Williamsburg girl who disappeared on her way home from school has been found, according to police.
Leailany Ortiz, 12, was returned safely to her home on Ten Eyck Walk between Graham and Manhattan avenues on Wednesday, Nov. 7, two days after she first disappeared, police said.
The little girl was last seen leaving her school Monday afternoon at about 5:30 p.m. and heading toward the Williamsburg Houses, police said.
