Police Car Strikes Cyclist In Williamsburg While Rushing Toward Assault, NYPD Says
The patrol car hit the biker, who was riding against traffic, on Morgan Avenue near Stagg Street in East Williamsburg around 2 a.m.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — An NYPD patrol car rushing to an assault struck a cyclist Monday morning, according to police.
The squad car hit the cyclist as he rode down Morgan Avenue near Stagg Street in East Williamsburg around 2 a.m., police said.
The cyclist — whom police said had been riding against the flow of traffic — was seriously but not critically injured, police said.

Emergency responders rushed the biker to Elmhurst Hospital Center where he was listed in stable condition, police said.
Another patrol car was routed to the assault where they assisted a 25-year-old woman was taken to Woodhull Hospital with minor injuries, said police.
