Rockaway Beach Bus Is Back In Business
The Rockaway Beach Bus will start couriering Brooklynites to Rockaway Beach this weekend.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Pull your beach chairs out from under the bed and grab the umbrella you hid behind the refrigerator — the Rockaway Beach Bus is back.
The beach-bound bus line will be picking up passengers in Williamsburg and Brooklyn then couriering them to a much-needed ocean every weekend this summer starting June 24.
The company improves upon the childhood day camp experience by providing air-conditioned roundtrip transportation, complimentary cold beer and cider, discounts on local beach food, and all for under $25 per ticket.

The buses depart Saturday and Sunday from Williamsburg’s Union Pool (484 Union Ave.) at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and from Pearl’s Social and Billy Club (40 St. Nicholas Ave.) at 10:15 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.
There six different drop-off points along the Rockaway beaches to choose from — Fort Tilden beach, Riis Park beach bazaar, Breakwater Surf Co., Rippers 86th Street beach and the Playland Motel and Tavern.

The buses depart around 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., depending on the location.
