Smoking Cat Burglar Nabs MacBook And $1K In Williamsburg: Cops
Police are looking for the smoking thief who snuck in through a Williamsburg skylight Saturday night.
WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — A smoking cat burglar crept through a Williamsburg skylight and made off with $1,000 in a cash and a MacBook Saturday morning, police said.
The burglar had a cigarette clenched between his teeth when he perused the New York Self Storage space at 1053 Metropolitan Ave. at about 6:45 a.m., surveillance video shows.
The cunning thief covered a security camera, but not before it showed him walking around in blue jeans, black sneakers, a baseball cap and sunglasses.

Police believe he might be a construction worker as he was last seen operating a Caterpillar wheel loader.
