Teens Steal $11K In Electronics From Brooklyn Stores, Police Say
Two young men have been stealing display items from electronic stores across Brooklyn, according to police.

GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for two teenagers who made of with more than $11,000 worth of display items this summer in a string of electronics store heists.
The two young men began stealing iPhones and other display items in April and have since robbed seven electronics stores in Greenpoint, Fort Greene, Brooklyn Heights, East New York and Prospect Lefferts Gardens, police said.
No one has been injured during the thefts and the teens — last seen wearing a gray hoodie and a tan UPS baseball cap — have made off with about $11,400 in stolen merchandise, said police.

The teens hit two locations in Greenpoint — Metro PCS at 97 Nassau Ave. and AT&T at 916 Manhattan Ave. — on May 16 and stole about $1420 worth of electronics from each location within a 30-minute timespan, police said.
Most recently, the pair stole $1,400 in electronics from the Sprint store at 147 Montague St. in Brooklyn Heights on Sept. 20 around 12:30 p.m., police said.

In April, the teens grabbed $1,500 in electronics from the Sprint store at 938 Pennsylvania Ave. and $1,770 in electronics from the AT&T at 115 Court St., said police.
In May, they stole $2412 in electronics from the Sprint store at 2230B Church Ave., and $1418 in electronics from the Metro PCS store at 408 Myrtle Ave.
Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact police.
