Thief Steals $2K Stroller From Williamsburg Lobby, Police Say

A man stole a $2,000 baby stroller from a Middleton Street apartment building last month, said police.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Police are hunting for the man who stole a $2,000 stroller from a Williamsburg lobby last month.

The suspect snuck into the lobby of 146 Middleton St. around 12:35 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 13, picked up the baby stroller and carted it away, said police.

The suspect, whom police describe as a man in his twenties, was seen carting the stroller away from the building and loading it into an SUV, police said.

The 22-year-old woman who owned the stroller contacted police two days later when she realized it was missing, said police.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police.
