Video: Car Bursts Into Flames Near Williamsburg Bridge
Firefighters rushed to the Williamsburg Bridge bus depot Monday afternoon when a car exploded in flames.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN -- A car erupted into flames and sent a pillar of black smoke billowing over the Williamsburg Bridge Monday afternoon, said the FDNY.
The car exploded in the bus depot on Havemeyer and South Fifth streets at about 1:40 p.m., an FDNY spokesman said.
One local took to Twitter to share video of the enormous flames and a large column of black smoke rising over the Williamsburg Bridge.

An FDNY spokesman told Patch that there were no injuries reported as of 2:20 p.m.
