Video: Williamsburg Hipster Beats Stranger, Cops Say

Police are looking for the man caught on video pummeling another man in Williamsburg Saturday morning.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Cops are looking for the punchy hipster who threw a stranger to the ground and kicked him in the face.

The man lunged at his 24-year-old victim on the corner of Bedford Avenue and South Second Street at about 1:40 a.m. Saturday morning, police said.

Surveillance video shows the man grabbing the 24-year-old by the neck, slamming him onto the concrete, then punching and kicking his face and body, said police.

Several passersby stopped the fight and the angry hipster stormed off eastbound on South Second Street, police said.

Emergency responders treated his victim for pain and bruising at the scene, according to police.

Police released images of the suspect — whom they describe as a blond man standing about 5-foot 8-inches tall, sporting glasses, a red jacket and black sweatpants — late Tuesday night.
