Williamsburg Burglary Suspect Wanted By Police

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Police are hunting for the man who stole a bike, backpack and luggage from two South Williamsburg residential buildings in May.

The thief first broke into a building near Throop Avenue and Moore Street on May 7 around 4:25 a.m. and stole a 37-year-old man’s bicycle and backpack from the hallway, police said.

The burglar struck two weeks later on May 22 around 4:30 a.m. and nabbed three pieces of luggage and a package from a building hallway near Broadway and Hooper Street, said police.

Video surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect, whom police describe as a bearded man in his twenties, standing about five-foot-seven and last seen wearing a gray hoodie, beige pants and black sneakers.
