Williamsburg Driver Killed In Crash With Trailer, Police Say

Esteban Sanchez died after he crashed his sedan into a construction trailer on Johnson Street, police said.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — A Brooklyn man was killed when he crashed his car into a construction trailer, police said.

Esteban Sanchez, 29, slammed his 2006 Infiniti M35 sedan into a trailer parked on Johnson Avenue near Humbolt Street at about 3:10 a.m. on June 28, police said.

Emergency responders rushed Sanchez, in critical condition, his 39-year-old passenger and a 30-year-old man who had been in the trailer, both in stable condition, to Woodhull Hospital, police said.

Sanchez, who lived on Humbolt Street, suffered severe head injuries and died on July 2, said police.

Police have made no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
