Williamsburg Infant's Death Investigated By Police
Police will investigate after an 11-day-old girl named Averi McDuffi died on Saturday.
WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — An 11-day-old girl died in Williamsburg Saturday morning and police are going to investigate.
The infant, Averi McDuffi, was found unconscious inside the Borinquen Houses on Humboldt and Siegel streets at about 6 a.m. on Oct. 27, police said.
Officers rushed McDuffi in their police car to Woodhull Hospital, but doctors were unable to save her life, according to the NYPD.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation remains ongoing, said police.
