They’re asking a Westchester court to order repairs, environmental testing, and damages, arguing the apartment has been uninhabitable and difficult to sell while they’ve withheld payments.
   

• Yonkers man charged for repeatedly strangling, assaulting girlfriend (midhudsonnews.com) — A 37-year-old Yonkers man has been indicted in Westchester County on a dozen charges tied to an alleged February domestic assault and repeated violations of an order of protection. Prosecutors say he remains free on $1,000 bail, and the district attorney criticized the court’s refusal to raise bail, stressing that domestic violence is a serious crime.
