Accordia Expands Third-Party Property Management Portfolio with Yonkers Retail and Office Building
Main street assignment builds on firm's growing third-party management services

Accordia Property Management has been awarded a22,000-square-foot property on South Broadway in Yonkers, New York, marking another step in the continued growth of the company’s third-party management business. Located along Yonkers’ established main street area, Accordia adds a retail and office property to its growing portfolio.
Accordia is providing hands-on property management, financial oversight, tenant and vendor relations and ongoing operational support. The firm will apply the same owner-focused approach it brings to its own commercial real estate assets, with an emphasis on controlling expenses, maintaining strong tenant relationships and identifying opportunities to enhance long-term value.
“Every property has its own needs, tenants and objectives, and our job is to understand all three,” said Christopher Hayes, Chief Operating Officer of Accordia and Group Head of Accordia Management. “At South Broadway, we’re bringing the same owner-focused approach we use throughout our portfolio — staying close to the property, communicating with ownership and tenants and looking beyond day-to-day operations to the long-term value of the asset.”

The Yonkers property builds on Accordia’s more than 20 years of experience as an owner, investor, developer and operator of commercial real estate. The firm has managed more than 5 million square feet across office, medical, industrial, retail and mixed-use properties.
“We’ve built our management business around the same principles we apply to our own properties,” said Frank D. Recine, Principal of Accordia Management. “When an owner entrusts us with an asset, we approach it as if it were our own. That means protecting the property, controlling expenses and making informed decisions that support the owner’s objectives.”

Accordia’s approach extends beyond traditional day-to-day management. Its capabilities include asset and financial management, lease analysis and negotiations, operating budgets and forecasts, vendor management, preventive maintenance and strategic leasing support, giving owners a more comprehensive view of their real estate investments.
“Property management, leasing and financial performance are all connected,” said Recine. “Our experience across those disciplines allows us to look at the entire asset, address what needs attention today and identify opportunities that can make the property stronger over time.”
The South Broadway assignment further strengthens Accordia’s third-party business throughout the region and builds on the company’s experience managing a diverse range of commercial real estate assets.
