1 Charged in Jefferson Valley Bank Holdup
Yorktown cops arrested a man held in Dutchess County jail for other bank robberies.
As Yorktown police continue to investigate the September17 robbery of the Putnam County Savings Bank branch on Lee Road, one arrest has been made.
Bronx resident Kerry D. Vanterpool, 25, faces a charge of second-degree robbery, a felony.
He was arraigned in Yorktown town court Dec. 8, after having been interviewed and later arrested in the Dutchess County jail. He was one of a trio arrested Sept. 22 and accused of taking part in a bank robbery in Lagrange.

He was taken back to jail in Dutchess and is due back in Yorktown court Jan. 5.
