22 Tickets Issued Yesterday in Distracted Driving Crackdown on Route 6
It was part of Operation Hang-up
On April 11, 2015 between the hours of 10AM and 4PM, State Police conducted a Distracted Driving Enforcement Initiative focusing on Route 6 in Cortlandt.
Police issued a total of 26 tickets, most for texting while driving.
This highway safety initiative perpetuates the mission of the State Police to reduce deaths, injuries and property damage caused by motor vehicle accidents through vehicle and traffic enforcement.
