Atlantic Appliance Launches ‘Buy Green, Save Green’ Rebate Program

Atlantic Appliance will be partnering with New York State's High-Efficiency Appliance Rebate Program, "Buy Green, Save Green."

Going green is about to become a whole lot easier on local appliance consumers and their wallets. Starting Sep. 2, Atlantic Appliance will be partnering with New York State’s High-Efficiency Appliance Rebate Program, “Buy Green, Save Green.”

Using $3 million in leftover funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), the program will allow customers, purchasing certain Energy Star® appliances, to receive rebates of up to $350. The main features of the program are:

  • Rebates are available for Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) Tier 2 & 3 Refrigerators of $350 and CEE Tier 2 & 3 Clothes Washers of $250.
  • Only appliances purchased on or after Sept. 2, 2011 are eligible- purchases made before that date are not eligible for rebates.
  • Rebates are only available to those who complete and submit a rebate application form, which are available in the store.
