Be a FRIEND to the Somers Library

If you have not already sent in your membership form, it is not too late to join us and help to support the Somers Library in 2015.

The board of directors for the Friends of the Somers Library have sponsored a number of special events so far this spring. Perhaps you have already been to a few?

Have you enjoyed any of our art classes, such as:

· Fundamentals of Charcoal Drawing Workshop with Mark Cassata

· Pen, Ink & Water Colored Pencil Workshop with Judika Lieberman.

· Introduction to Zentangle class with Jill Greenbaum

Were you here to sing along at the Music of the 60’s concert with the Joey D. Jazz Ensemble or were you thoroughly entertained at the Quinteto Sincopatí Latin Jazz concert?

Maybe you came to the “Learn How to Play Mah Jongg” class, or to the “Stop Stressing About Dressing” presentation, or visited the old neighborhood at “The Bronx The Way it Was” night.

All of these events were made possible by your support and donations to the FRIENDS of the Somers Library. So if you would like to see more events like these in 2015, please remember to stop by the front desk and pick up a membership form to join the FRIENDS.
