"One of the problems with the postal service is that they have replaced many full-time employees with part-timers who are not familiar with routes or passionate about their jobs," he said.
"I will be reaching out to members of Congress from our area and will be asking them to schedule public hearings and for the Senate and House of Representatives to investigate the reasons why the postal service are having so many problems," Feiner said.
He said that people depend on the mail for checks, bills and prescription drugs.
If people don't get their mail, "people will stop using the postal service," Feiner said.
