Bronx Man Accused Of ID Theft, Grand Larceny
Police said he tried to steal $7,000 from a Yorktown bank.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Bronx man was arrested for trying to steal $7,000 from a bank. Yorktown police said Victor Reveron, 43, of Montgomery Avenue in the Bronx, was charged with second-degree possession of a forged instrument, third-degree grand larceny and second-degree identity theft, all felonies.
Police said they were sent around 10:30 a.m. May 2 to Key Bank for an attempted theft.
An investigation found that on April 28 Reveron had in his possession and used a forged license while trying to withdraw $7,000 from the bank.

Detectives made several attempts to contact him, but he was uncooperative, police said.
A warrant was issued by Yorktown Justice Court May 15 for his arrest.

On Aug. 7, Yorktown detectives went to the Putnam County Jail where Reveron was being held.
He was placed under arrest and taken to Yorktown Police Headquarters for processing.
Reveron was arraigned, with bail set at $10,000 or bond at $15,000.
He could not make bail, so he was sent back to the Putnam County Jail.
Reveron is scheduled to reappear in count Aug. 28.
