Arriaga was arrested and taken to the Yorktown Police Headquarters for processing.
It was also determined that he was driving the car while his privilege to do so was revoked because of a previous refusal to submit to a chemical test.
Arriaga was issued an appearance ticket and uniform traffic tickets after which he was released on his own recognizance to a responsible third party.
He is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Jan. 25.
