Brooklyn Man Has Pot, Drives Drunk: Yorktown PD
Police said the man was also driving with a revoked license and had no registration or insurance.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Brooklyn man was accused of drunken driving and illegally possessing cannabis.
The Yorktown Police Department said Seon Tim, 45, of Brooklyn, was arrested Saturday and charged with the following:
- Driving while intoxicated, blood alcohol content 0.08 percent or more, first offense, a misdemeanor.
- Driving while intoxicated, first offense, a misdemeanor.
- Second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor.
- Unlawful possession of cannabis, a violation.
- Open container of alcohol in vehicle, a traffic violation.
- Multiple other traffic infractions.
Police said, shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday, officers were sent to check out a report of an erratic operator.

A vehicle fitting the description was spotted on Route 132. It was seen to be failing to stay in the lane and was stopped by an officer.
A check of Tim's license and registration status found he was driving with a revoked license and no registration or insurance, police said.

The officer who stopped him said he saw indications of being impaired as well as an open container of alcohol in the car.
Police said they determined Tim was driving while intoxicated by alcohol and also was in unlawful possession of cannabis.
He was taken to the Yorktown Police Headquarters where it was determined he had a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more.
Tim was issued traffic tickets and an appearance ticket to return to court Jan. 6.
He was released on his own recognizance to a responsible adult.
