Chamber of Commerce Announces "Best of Yorktown"

Chamber of Commerce President Joseph Visconti has announced the winners of the "Best of Yorktown" awards. For the first time community members had the chance to vote in 10 different categories. The goal, Visconti said, was to encourage support and awareness for the local business and non-profit community.

The awards to be presented at the 3rd Annual Yorktown Festival and Street Fair, taking place on Oct. 9.

And the winners are:

• Automotive Care: Autobaun 
• Health Club/Fitness: 
• Clothing/Specialty: 
• Doctor/Dentist/Therapist: Dr. Richard Schectman
• Dining: Frankie and Augie ' Z Restaurant
• Salon: 
• Bank: 
• Not for Profit: 
• Home Improvement: Maple Leaf Associates
