Hilltop Hanover Farm has planned fall activities that will be attractive to young children as well as families.

The fall continues to be a busy time at Hilltop Hanover Farm of Yorktown Heights. You can watch a movie, enjoy square dancing, and even buy a pumpkin – all in the same location.

The “Pajamas Movie Night Series” continues on Friday, October 21 with “Stuart Little.” This free movie will be shown in the fully enclosed and heated tent. Popcorn and other treats and beverages will be available for sale. Doors will open at 7:00 PM with the movie starting at 7:30 PM. The final movie in the series of three will be “Charlotte’s Web” on Friday, November 18 in the historic house. Once again there is free admission for all. The time and goodies sold on Nov. 18 will be same as October 21. Call (914) 962-2368 to preregister for both movies..
Square Dancing comes to Hilltop Hanover on Saturday, October 22 from 4:30 to 7:00 PM. The event is free for members while non-members pay $10 for adults and $5 for children (5-18). Square Dance fans are invited to bring a picnic dinner. Hilltop Hanover Farm will provide the desserts, drinks, and down home fun. Liz Spade, accompanied by a live band, will be the caller.

The fun continues throughout October into November. Pumpkin Day will be Saturday, October 22 from 10 to 4. On Saturday, October 29, zombie farmers return for a day of fun activities. Also, classes will be offered through November 19th. The classes will include “Odds and Ends” on October 15, 2-4; Soups Stew Indian Style, Oct. 29, 2-4; Classic Indian Cooking” on Nov. 5, 2-4:00 PM, and Vegetarian Thanksgiving on November 19 , 2-4:00 PM. You must pre register for these classes.
