Christmas Tree Recycling Available In Somers

If you can't drop yours off, there is an option thanks to the Boy Scouts.

SOMERS, NY — It's that time of year. Town of Somers residents may drop off their recycled Christmas trees at the Somers Highway Department.

The department is located at 250 Route 100 in Somers.

The service is free to all residents.

The drop-off dates and times are:

  • Saturday, Jan. 9: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Saturday, Jan. 16: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Saturday, Jan. 23: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The town said that, if you need help, Somers Boy Scout Troop 228 can pick up your tree. The suggested donation of $20 will help support the BSA Troop 228 outdoor program.
