Two new developments are proposed for Route 202.

1. Kitchawan Fire & Rescue Station
The fire company’s attorney indicated that the company had sufficient funds in its treasury to proceed with the construction of the station even though the recent bond issue was defeated.

2.Teatown Auxiliary Parking Lot/Public Hearing
The board opened and closed the hearing and reserved decision.

3. Crompond Terraces (Old Crompond Road)
The board reviewed a rezoning request on Old Crompond Road (to the east of Crompond Crossing) to permit the construction of 47,500 sf of office and retail space and 96 units of age oriented (55+) town houses.

4. CVS/Pharmacy (Crompond Road)
The board reviewed a preliminary plan for a 12,900 sf CVS building and a standalone 2,500 sf bank building across from BJs and stretching back to Old Crompond Road that would be in front of the proposed new Crompond Terraces buildings discussed in item #3.

15. Costco FEIS
Acting chairman John Flynn outlined the process the board will follow for reviewing the multi volume document. The process, which will take place during board work sessions, is expected to take several months to complete. The meetings are open to the public, but neither the applicant or the public will be allowed to comment or ask questions during the discussions. (Note: work sessions are not televised.)
