Come Celebrate Cricket's Birthday at Hilltop Hanover Farm of Yorktown Heights

Join in Cricket’s Birthday Celebration!

On Saturday, June 25, from 1 to 3 PM, Hilltop Hanover Farm of Yorktown Heights will be celebrating Cricket’s second birthday with a series of activities. The activity is free for members and $5 for non-members.

Cricket is one of the Farm’s four cows. Cows were returned to the Farm in 2014 after an absence of twenty-seven years. In fact, Cricket was born on the Farm. We will be singing Happy Birthday to her and then enjoying an ice cream party, sponsored by Turco’s Super Ranch of Yorktown Heights. There will also be a few fun activities, such as “Pin the Tail on the Cow,” planned for the children. Be sure to bring your camera.

The Farm Stand will be open on Saturday from 10 to 4. Also, the “You Pick It” fields may be available. You can also enjoy the hiking trails, visit the chickens and goats as well as the cows. Picnic tables are available if you wish to bring your lunch.

The Friends of Hilltop Hanover Farm will be operating a member table during the ice cream party. The yearly membership opportunities range from $50 to $1,000. Each membership comes with a HHF car magnet and HHF tote. Also, all members receive 10% off each workshop. In addition, you are invited to attend “member only” activities offered throughout the year. Your admittance to the ice cream party would thus be free for you and your family.

Additional contributions would, of course, be greatly appreciated. Since the membership drive commenced in late September 2014, we have grown to 171 members and counting!
