This free Sunday concert is sponsored by the Friends of the Somers Library.

Plans are to hold this concert on the stage in Reis Park, so be sure to bring a blanket or a chair. The concert will move into the library program room if there is inclement weather.

If you saw them last year you know this will be a great entertaining performance for the whole family. If you missed them last year, be sure to mark your calendars for June 7th and bring your clapping hands & stomping feet for a terrific concert in the park.

The R. J. Storm and Old School Bluegrass Band, based in Beacon, NY, has performed their brand of energetic, artistic, and engaging bluegrass music at various venues from right here in the Hudson Valley to the Newport Folk Festival in Newport, RI. Bringing together tasteful instrumental musicianship, rich harmonies, and an energetic stage presence, the trio has appeared with artists such as Tony Trischka, Pete Seeger, Tom Chapin, Bill Kieth, Uncle Floyd, Dom Flemmons, John McCutcheon, Tom Paxton, Smokey Greene, Roger Sprung, and many, many others.
