Cortlandt Manor Man Accused of Driving Without License in Yorktown

Police said he was involved in an automobile accident.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Cortlandt Manor 53-year-old man was accused of driving without a license after an accident last month.

Yorktown Police said Daniel Hickey of North 3rd Street was charegd with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor.

Around 11 a.m. August 27, police responded to a property damage automobile accident at the intersection of Crompond Road (Route 202) and Saw Mill River Road (Route 35).

After a routine driver license check, police said Hickey, one of the drivers involved in the accident, was driving with a suspended license.

He was processed at police headquarters and released on $100 bail.

Hickey is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court September 27.
