Register now for spring and summer art classes at the Putnam Arts Council in Mahopac

Register soon and secure your spot in one of our spring or summer arts or performing arts classes.

Group classes are offered in drawing, painting clay, sculpting, stained glass and photography, tap, and ballet, and with private lessons in acting, voice, or piano. Need to learn to stretch and relax? Try a Yoga class in our gallery on Wednesday mornings. Most classes meet once a week for six weeks but duration varies. Have a busy schedule? Try a one day workshop in printmaking or come explore the ancient art of Bonsai!

Children from 6-15 can choose from a super heroes and villains cartooning class or classes in drawing, painting, clay, mixed media or the artist's notebook.

We offer a portfolio review course for artists 16 to adult which works on goals set by the artist and instructor.

Small classes are designed to provide individual instruction and encourage personal expression and are available for beginners to experienced. Our spring session begins the week of 5/16 and summer starting in July. Classes offered days, evenings, after school and weekends and are taught by working artists in climate controlled studios at the Arts Council's facility, the Belle Levine Art Center, 521 Kennicut Hill Road, Mahopac. Additional details are available @www.putnamartscouncil.com. Register online, in person or by phone, 845.803.8622
