YORKTOWN, NY — Yorktown is turning 230 years old. So town officials and boosters decided to throw a party. There's a lot going on all day Sunday, including tours and games and music, with a parade and fireworks. There's a long list of participating local farms and restaurants. So be sure to drop by.

Event Schedule
9 AM - Town Board vs. Yorktown Sports Clubs, Baseball Game at Shrub Oak Park, Sunnyside Street
11 AM - Yorktown & the ‘Old Put’, Talk by John Tegeder at Railroad Park on Commerce Street
1-3 PM - Preservation Tours (Exteriors Only), Yorktown Landmarks Preservation Commission, Departing from Town Hall
2 PM - Anniversary Parade, Along East Main Street in Shrub Oak,Lakeland High School to Lakeland District Office
3 PM - Kristina Koller Jazz Trio, John C. Hart Memorial Library Front Porch
3-9 PM- Lions Concert Series: The Best of Yorktown!, at the Jack DeVito Veterans Memorial Park

9 PM - Fireworks! Set off from the Yorktown Firehouse

Meeting Place: Meet the tour bus in the parking lot next to Town Hall
Time: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Please note: This tour is an exterior tour through the Croton Heights area only. There will be no opportunity to tour the interiors of any of the structures.
