Early Morning Accident on the Taconic Parkway
Saturday morning incident occurred involving one vehicle which overturned and rolled into the bushes.
Police are investigating an accident that happened on the northbound side of the Taconic State Parkway Saturday morning.
A little after 6 a.m., a black, four-door vehicle flipped over and landed in a wooded area along the center median. The incident took place just south of the Underhill Avenue exit. According to police, the driver was injured and transported to Hudson Valley Hospital.
Two northbound lanes were closed while emergency operations were underway. The incident was cleared up just after 7 a.m.
