Join us to share our accomplishments at a low key, Friday evening holiday potluck supper for everyone that worked, volunteered and supported Hilltop Hanover Farm in 2011, and for anyone in the community wanting to know about one of Westchester's best kept secrets. The evening will spotlight: young farmers - they are the future of fresh local food; Hilltop volunteers who pulled weeds or helped in the office, interacted with the community at our Farm Stand, U-Pick, CSA and events; and our supporters - CSA members, visitors, customers, local businesses and individuals who spread the word about the farm, donated items and shared the wealth. We will also formally acknowledge our 2011 honorees; Annie Farrell and the Berolzheimer Family. The evening also features a silent auction, live bluegrass music and the documentary short 'A New Crop', about young farmers, which was created by Hilltop supporters Tracy Baslie and Janis Sharkey. In celebration of all of you, join us, and please bring a dish to share (this is not a requirement for attendance). Refreshments will be provided.
The event is FREE but please RSVP so we can be sure to have enough for everyone.
