Exit Numbers Coming to Taconic State Parkway

YORKTOWN, NY — Notice those big blue sign-like things near the familiar green and white signs on the Taconic State Parkway?

Well, the state Department of Transportation is in the process of fully numbering exits along the Westchester stretch of the parkway by next summer, the Journal News said.

The effort is partly to bring the parkway into alignment with federal standards and also to help drivers be safer navigating the road.
