FREE College Application Workshop for Rising Seniors

There will be a free college application workshop from 4p.m. to 8p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1 in the community room of the John C. Hart Memorial Library. Register now at askcollegeappworkshop16.eventbrite.com.

This workshop will organize and prepare rising senior students as they begin to apply to colleges. Students should bring a laptop and a list of six to 12 schools which they plan to apply to. Recent high school graduates will be running the workshop to provide the students with peer-to-peer assistance, advice and insight from personal experiences.

WORKSHOP GOALS:

· Create Common Application accounts and begin to enter information

· Form a list of supplemental essays needed to​​ be written and start to brainstorm

· Create an organized schedule to adhere to
