Gingerbread House Recap
We had an awesome time yesterday at our gingerbread house decorating event! Thanks to everybody who came! Check out the pictures!
Yesterday, we kicked off our library events with a gingerbread house decorating session!
We had lots of kids come on out to try a hand at making a mini house-and they all did awesome! Lots of the kids also learned more about what Relay for Life is & how they can become more involved to help make a difference in our community! They had lots of great questions that were answered & we can't wait to see how they get more involved!
This free event was the first in a series of 8 free events Relay for Life of Yorktown will be hosting at the John C Hart Library through May 2017. We are beyond excited for this partnership & hope you all can make it out to other events we'll have going on! Each are free & each will be tons of fun! Mark your calendars!

Survivor & Caregiver Meet Up
Being a cancer survivor or caregiver doesn’t mean you have to be alone. Join us & other survivors and caregivers to support one another and learn from one another. You will also have the chance to learn more about available resources from the American Cancer Society which can help make your cancer journey, or that of a loved one, easier to navigate. You will also get to participate in our 2017 official Wall of Hope which will be displayed at Relay for Life of Yorktown on June 9, 2017!

Join us for a Relay for Life Art Exhibit where artists of all ages throughout our community share their pieces of what the fight against cancer means to them.
