Guiding Eyes for the Blind Appoints Linda Press Vice President of Strategic Partnerships
Non-profit promotes 13-year staff member

Guiding Eyes for the Blind has promoted Linda Press to Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. Press has been a Guiding Eyes team member since 2002.
Linda Press has cultivated a number of important relationships for Guiding Eyes over the years. Her new role will focus on identifying corporate and not-for-profit strategic partners to further Guiding Eyes’ mission to provide guide dogs to people with vision loss, as well as service dogs for children with autism.
“I am very pleased to have Linda on my team,” said Thomas Panek, Guiding Eyes’ President and CEO. “I am confident in her ability to network with business leaders who are committed to the philosophy of doing good while doing business.”

Press recently developed strategic partnerships with Hitachi, Goldman Sachs Community Teamworks, Starr Companies, and Lighthouse Guild, as well as many other prominent local and national funders. She currently chairs the Westchester County Housing Opportunity Commission and is member of several municipal committees. Press also serves on the board of the Friends of the Trailside Nature Museum and Ward Pound Ridge Reservation.
