Health Care, Tech, Home Improvement Are Top Employers Near Yorktown

YORKTOWN, NY — When it comes to businesses, there’s a lot going on in the Hudson Valley.

According to infoUSA ARC employer database, as well as publicly available information, the top five employers in Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester counties include IBM and Home Depot.

Not surprisingly, three health-care organizations are in the top five.

The top five employers are:

• Crystal Run Healthcare
• Home Depot
• IBM Corp.
• Nyack Hospital
• Orange Regional Medical Center

And just for grins, the sixth top employer in the region is Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. — another health-care-related employer.
